Fike, McGees Guests on CFF Racing Show

Galesburg, IL (June 6th, 2011) – This week’s episode of the CFF Racing Show powered by Buffalo Wild Wings takes a look at racers today, racers past and racers lost, as we honor Hershel Roberts, who passed away Tuesday. The first interview of the show is one Dewain Hulett conducted last July with Hershel Roberts after Ray Guss, Jr., won a race at Quad City Speedway. Roberts, who was co-owner with his son, Ken, of Guss, Jr.s’, car was in the midst of his battle with cancer and on the way to his team winning five championships last year. We hope you enjoy the look back and hearing the words of a definite ambassador of the sport.

Also this week, as current drivers, we have A.J. Fike and Dean McGee as guests. Our racer past is the popular Fibber McGee, who is Dean’s father. The two spent time together talking to Hulett and Jake Croxton about racing and it’s changes throughout the years. Fike, of course, has driven at nearly every level of racing, including at the NASCAR level, and is now racing an IMCA Modified among other things.
